Phone goes straight to voicemail

Phone goes straight to voicemail

My phone rings about a half-ring and immediately goes to Xfinity voicemail.  Essentially, I can't pick up any incoming calls.

DO you have call-forwarding enabled or are you using the services of NoMoRobo?

I have the same problem. Comcast voicemail is set to pick up after 5 rings, while house answering machine is set to 4. Phone is not forwarded. Service was ported from LL carrier last Friday and phone stopped ringing. if someone calls they get the Comcast voicemail and I have no idea they've called unless I have my iPad which tells me there is an incoming call. If I try to get the call, it isn't there. Suggestions?  Been on three calls and one chat with Comcast so far.

If the problem is still continuing after today ( Monday ) call into Comcast and ask if the porting has been completed.  Sometimes the "backend" systems don't catch up until after the weekend....
