Phone does not ring

Hi,

None of the phones in my house will ring-everything goes right to voice mail.

Hello,

You should check what your setting is in your voice preference to see what is the number of rings you have it set to go to voice mail.

Since reasd did not tell you how to access Voice Preferences I will.

Accessing Voice Preferences in Xfinity Connect (web based email access) does not give an option for changing the number of rings before a call goes to voice mail.

You will need to do that in the Digital Voice Center. There used to be a link in Xfinity Connect to access Digital Voice Center but for some reason known only to Comcast they removed it. I had to jump through hoops to find it and now have it bookmarked.

Start here. You may need to sign in as the PRIMARY Comcast user account holder.

https://digitalvoice.comcast.net/Comcast/DVPPortal/Dvp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=DvpHomeBook

Click Preferences, then VOICE MAIL. See what number is next to Send call to voice mail after:

If you need to change it click the drop down arrow and pick the number you want. Then click Save.
