Phone display on TV

Phone display on TV

We had two new X1 boxes and and a new gateway installed last week.  After a very rough start the phone is working as it should and the incoming call message is showing on the new X1 boxes.  it is NOT showing on the main X1 DVR.  This did not get replaced.

 

The Billing Code for phone display must be in place as I sit on the new boxes.

 

I have spent many hours with CSR both phone and chat.  reset signals sent many times.  Unplugged the DVR many times.  Still cannot get the phone message or any message to show on that TV. I am thinking that box might need to be replaced????

 

It is very frustrating that Comcast Tech support has no answers, says they will call back but do not, and I can clearly tell they are reading from a script. ''

Call back into Comcast and ask that ALL of your boxes be refreshed....so that the callerid rate code is on all of your devices...

Thank you!  Easy.

 

And as a suggestion:  make sure you have the voice notifications turned on for each box.  The last refresh from Comcast disable that for me!!!
