Phone activation - you dissapoint me Comcast!

Rant:  I followed the automated activation process for the replacement cable/phone modem we received in the mail today from Comcast (a Technicolor TC8305C).  The web/auto activation process informed me that it failed, and said to call Comcast.  The tech did the activation over the phone and wished me a good day.


A few hours later I go to use out phone and come to find it has no dial tone.  Another call to Comcast and I find out that the "tech" only activated the modem, not the phone (even though their in the same box).  Its now "after hours" and they cannot activate until the morning.  We have a child with a serious medical condition and are expecting calls on this line.  THANKS COMCAST!
