Phone Message

When you get a message on your home phone you have to listen to the whole thing before you can delete it. That's why we have voice mail so we dont have to put up with this. This system is not working right. Should be looked at and addressed. On your cell phone you can hit 7 at any time and delete. So why can't you do the same thing on Comcast?

Re: Phone Message

See if this works:

While Listening to a Message:
  • Press "1" to return to the beginning of the message.
  • Press "3" to fast forward through the message.
  • Press "3-3" to fast forward to the end of the message.
  • Press "5" to listen to the message envelope. The message envelope consists of the date, time, telephone number which sent the message (if available) and the length of the message.
  • Press "7-7" to delete the message while it is playing.
  • Press "#" to skip the message.
  • Press "*" to cancel message playback and return to the main menu.
