Person at other end can't hear me

Person at other end can't hear me

I live in the Irwin area east of Pittsburgh, PA. Two or three times this week the person I was talking to could no longer hear me.  I checked with our neighbors, and they are having the same problem.  I was wondering if it could be storm related from last week's high winds. We experienced it last year and Comcast denied any problem, but the service people told us it was an area wide problem with the root in New Jersey.  Is anyone else having this problem?
