One ring then voicemail

One ring then voicemail

My Xfinity voice worked fine for a week.  Now I get a short ring and then nothing.  When I pick up it's a dial tone.  Callers in, however, get continued rings and then voicemail.

 

When I call Comcast, I get the usual "We're experiencing higher than usual call volume.  Your wait is 15 minutes."  What customer service!

 

Anybody have a solution I can make at home?
