Install new modem, same as old one. Cable, Internet working fine, no telephone. Indicator light on modem not on. Tried recycling modem, checked connections, still nothing.
Did you "recycle" it by using the recessed reset button on the rear ?
While the device is powered on, are you holding in the reset button long enough until the the indicator lights begin to cycle ?
That's fine. If you still have no service, the problem is on their end. Do you know if they in fact have actually provisioned the phone segment of that device for service yet ?
I assume they have. I spoke with a tech rep early on when I was setting up and asked for help getting the phone service to work.They tried some stuff from their end and ended up telling me they would keep working on it, but it may take up to three days to get it.
