No phone service again

No phone service again

On Monday morning I had no phone service.  A tech was going to come on Tuesday afternoon.  i took a ride to Comcast on Monday.  When I returned on Monday afternoon I picked up my phone and i had a dial tone.  When They called to confirm my appointment I cancelled it since my service was all of a sudden working with no tech.  I should also let you know that the tech was supposed to come between 3 pm and 7 pm.  When they called they said the appointment was between 7 am and 11 am which was wrong.  I have had service for 3 days and now I have no service again.  What the heck is going on?  This service is diaster.  I never had these problems with Verizon.  I need my phone and I need it to be working everyday.  It must be a Comcast problem since it started working without a tech.

I have the same problem from time to time.   I never had this with Verizon either.   It is very frustrating as we only have this land line for emergencies and never know when it will be working.   Comcast has told us that

it may be the wiring, but they have checked it all and never find a problem.   If Comcast is having a problem, then why didn't it show up with Verizon?

I see the modem is back online and the levels look good.
