No Phone Service

No Phone Service

This is the second day with no phone service.  Techs are helpful but say there is a large outage in my area.

Dialtone is only sometimes.  That was yesterday.  Today is nothing.  They keep telling me there is an outage in the area.

No dial tone -- no good support from Comcast -- left in the lurch with no phone service.

 

Suggestions ? Should I drive to the local office ?

brick twp same issue.Tried reseting modem, no dial tone.Internet and tv are fine.

thanks for confirming it may not just be me -- but what a hassle doing the Chat support thing !!! These people know NOTHING !

We do have a Intermittent CDV Issue in NJ. I do not have a ETR at this time.

Well its working again for now ( since about lunch time ).

 

But if the Chat method of support is all thats available to us, why don't they have access to the outage information at their fingertips ?

 

I spend a large amount of frustrating time lsitening to apologies,  and then they send advertisements for Comast services , and then they have no knowledge of what's going on at all.

 

Who do I complain to ?

I am speaking with customer service and technical leadership now.

 

I will also notify our chat leadership of your experience.

 

I still do not have a ETR, however all necessary parties are involved.

Where is this outage? I live in crownsville...also had spotty phone/inet svc since 05/06
