No Phone Service

No Phone Service

I recently upgraded my old modem to a wireless gateway provided by Comcast and have had no phone service since. I spent about an hour in an online chat session yesterday to no avail. The woman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and said everything looked fine. We did multiple modem resets from both her end and mine but nothing worked. Both Tel 1 and Tel 2 lines are flashing. When a call comes in, it shows up on TV but the call goes directly to voicemail and there is no way to check voicemail.

Very frustrating to be paying for something I am not receiving.

I to upgraded to the new modem, i can make calls but callers go into voice mail. Tried online chat and wasted two hours of my life. Got fustrated and closed the chat.

Yeah......I haven't had phone service for about three days now. This is clearly on Comcast's end.

same here, too much static on the line, phone not useable.

My problem is solved!! I emailed comcast_cares@comcast.com and received a reply right away.

When I arrived home from work today, my phone service was working.
