No Dial Tone

No Dial Tone

I have had no dial tone for the last 5 days. Got new batteries for phones and checked all connections, but still no dial tone. Please help.

Start by resetting the eMTA telephony modem or gateway, press the small indented button on the panel where the cables attach.  If that doesn't do it, then connect a known good wired telephone directly to the L1/L2 jack on the eMTA or gateway.

 

If that doesn't do it, then contact Comcast support at 1-800-266-2278.
