No Dial Tone

No Dial Tone

I switched my phone and internet from AT&T to comcast recently. Yesterday, I think they finally ported over my phone from AT&T to comcast and now my phone has no dial tone. My phone is plugged directly into the Arris 862 modem Telephone 1. The internet still works it is just my phone line. I do have my modem set on bridge mode. I have tried to reset the modem to no avail. The light on the front of the modem is not turned on for the telephone. When I reset my modem it turned on for a couple of seconds but then turned off. So my question is does my modem being in bridge mode effect my phone line?

You will have to contact Comcast support to confirm the provisioning of the eMTA gateway on the phone side.  There is no other reason.
