New install, Caller ID stopped working

New install, Caller ID stopped working

Installed voice/internet last week.  Caller ID was working, now it's not.

 

Any ideas?

It is probably a provisioning problem within Comcast....  call into Comcast and have them look to ensure that CallerID is provisioned on your account....  there were problems with the system last week and some users were affected,,,

Yep...called in...level 1 sent me to the team that fixes caller ID TV.  I ask to be transferred to the correct department, got disconnected after 10 minutes on hold.

 

I'm well within my 30 day new service window.   I think I need to reconsider Comcast as a provider.

You were disconnected and you haven't called back?

You are aware there was a major X1 network outage at the same time?

The Call-In system was inundated with all types of people calling in...  Phone, Internet, Cable, X1, etc.....

If it were me, I would have called back by now as this is a simple fix...but by not calling, Comcast will never know it's broke.
