Need a new phone number?

Hi,

 

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I recently signed up for comcast for the first time. In doing so, I bought the Voice Package, which came with a recently out of service number.

 

Now, what's happening is that we are getting a lot of missed calls and voicemails for someone else. We signed up on 4/20 and have already gotten 15 VMs.

 

Is it possible for me to get a new number?

This forum is a customer-to-customer area....  the only way to inquire about changin your phone number will require you to call into Comcast and speak with a CSR...they should be able to answer your question(s) and offer advice on what steps you can take.
