Lost caller ID on TV after upgrading EMTA to wireless gateway

Lost caller ID on TV after upgrading EMTA to wireless gateway

One of our cable boxes has the capability to display the caller ID on the TV. Today, I activated a new wireless gateway and returned the old EMTA modem.

 

Since this was done today, will this take a day or two to update in the system before the caller ID works again? I have already rebooted the box in question.

It can take up to 72 hours..... if it doesn't appear by then, call into COMcast and make sure the CallerID code is activated on your account....  ( it sometimes disappears when you upgrade equipment )....

It appeared sometime today.
