Incoming calls direct to voicemail

Since this morning all incoming phone calls are going direct to voicemail. Reset modem, no fix. Called tech support, tried another reset-no good. Tried hard reset-worked once then problem returned. Now they have scheduled a tech to come out tomorrow. Came here and see this issue seems to be persistent problem for a while with Comcast so doubt seriously a repair tech will resolve this. If Comcast cannot get a handle on this problem soon I will be switching back to Verizon for my phone service-regardless of contract term and Comcast can go pound sand if they try to keep billing me for a useless service.

Hello,

Go to xfinity connect webmail and check your voicemail preference it maybe your settings were changed.

Specifically you need to check

Sign in to Xfinity Connect. Click Preferences>>Voice>>Advanced Call Forwarding.

 

Click EDIT next to Advanced Call Forwarding. Look to see how many rings it's set for.

 

If you need/want to change the number of rings click the pencil icon. Make the change by clickint the drop down arrow. The change will be automatically saved.

We are having the exact same issue.
I went 'On-line' used the chat feature.
They fixed it, for now.
Phone service sucks so far.
