How to disable Voicemail?

How can I disable xfinity voicemail?  Just want to use my box.

You must call into Comcast support to turn off voicemail and/or call waiting.

You must call Comcast (1-800 comcast) 



Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

I merely want to DISABLE my computer grabbing voicemails. I do NOT check my computer

for voice messages; I use my telephone only! 

Is this an option with Comcast?
