Feature that shows who's calling on my TV screen.

How do I turn off the feature that shows who's calling me on my TV screen? I have two lines because my mother lives with me, my line is the primary one. I don't want any of my calls showing up on my mothers TV screens phones? Please help.

Call into Comcast at 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489, select BILLING and tell the CSR that you would like the CallerID Rate Code be REMOVED from your account.... this will effectively disable CallerID on your subscription.

Hi charlotte7. I can assist with Caller ID showing on your mothers TV screens. You can go to the settings of each of her cable boxes and turn off the XFINITY Voice notifications, which will stop your incoming call notifications from popping up on her TV's.

Hey Joe, won't this also turn off her Mothers caller ID off her TV screen?   What's Mom going to do if she likes seeing who is calling HER while she is watching her TV (screen), doesn't this take that away from Mom?

Hello TomD2, to answer your question about Caller ID on TV. You are correct, this will turn off all Caller ID notifications on the TV(s) that is set to have the notification off. The Caller ID  on TV is a service provided only for the primary telephone line in the home. So if a user who has a second line does not want/need to see Caller ID notifications for the primary line, they can turn this feature off.

 

Of course, as another option, Caller ID can me removed from the account entirely as well.
