Fax worked, now phone does not

Fax worked, now phone does not

Plugged the HP All-In-One just to see if the fax would work, it did,  When the phone line was plugged back in all we have is a buzzing sound on the DSL phone line now.  (Yes, I should have looked at the instructions closer prior to doing this but....)  Any suggestions?

Re: Fax worked, now phone does not

First, if you have a DSL phone line, then it has nothing to do with Comcast service.

Explain more on where you plugged in the fax and if you disconnected any other telephone cords.

Re: Fax worked, now phone does not

Well have Comcast so I guess it's not DSL.  Sorry, I'm not a techy.  Plugged the fax into the same spot the phone is normally  plugged into.  We have 3 phone outlets, didn't unplug any of the other phones.  1 phone works the other two have buzzing.
