Echo was pretty common for CDV when first implemented into a market. Most of this can be resolved by tweaking in the headend. The network delays were pretty prevalent at first when I first got the service and then over a few months people said the robotic voices and echo completely disappeared. Didn't change nothing where I lived and asked the neighbors who had it and theirs went away as well over the period of a few months. Don't have the service now but if your market just got it they will iron it out for sure. Just be patient.
