Digital Phone Service - Poor

Less than a week after I switched from ATT to Comcast phone service (xfinity), I lost my phone on Sunday evening.   Tech Support ran line tests and said it is not in our home and they would have a technician check out our line (cable).   I still have both TV and Internet but no phone.   In place of my voice mail box, callers get a message "Line is not available, call again later please".    A friend called my wife's cell this morning and said all they got was a rapid busy signal when they call my home phone. My voice mail box was always available with ATT. 


I thought their was a law about not having phone service out for a length of time as it must be available for 911 service.    Tech Support said it would be 48 to 72 hours before my phone service will be restored.   I find this unacceptable...

Hi there - I understand that we were able to get the service restored for you on 2/14. Is that correct?
