Deleting Voice Mails from the online Xfinity Webpage

Deleting Voice Mails from the online Xfinity Webpage

I am on the xfinity voice help section of their website researching how to delete "missed, answered, and placed calls" and even downloaded their user guide for reference. There is no information on how to delete calls dating bact to October 2014 with 249 calls in the log. Does anyone know a way to delete these from the on line voice section of xfinity?

Comcast does not allow you to delete those types of calls..... the only thing you can delete is your voicemail.

You cannot delete the call logs.

 

They will be retained in the logs for 90 days and then automatically deleted by Comcast. Or at least they are supposed to be deleted after 90 days.

 

Comcast will tell you they are required to keep call logs for 90 days. And they are right about that.

 

However, I would be nice to have the ability to delete those calls ourselves. They would not be PERMENTANTLY deleted from the Comcast system because they would have the call records stored elsewhere if needed. It would just remove them from our sight.

 

Voice mails CAN be deleted, but not the call log that shows Answered Call when a caller is sent to voice mail.
