I am a NEW Comcast customer,only one day, and I"m already having issues with the service.  My house phone cannot receive calls!  It does not even ring and I have NO saved messages.  I found out because the newspaper was trying to call me, then e-mailed me & told me of the problem.

 

However, theREAL problem is I JUST paid $131.00 to run an ad to sell my car.  The ad starts tomorrow, 1-22-16.  Comcast cannot even respond to my concerns for 24 to 48 hours!   So how will I know if anyone is interested in my car & trying to call me?  I feel I just wasted $131.00!!  I am ready to have Comcast take ALL their equipment OUT!

Try resetting your modem/gateway by following the instructions in the link.  If this fails to return service, call into Comcast @ 1-800-266-2278 and speak with a CSR about your non working Voice Services.    http://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/internet/power-cycling-your-modem/

I'm having the same problem but if you download the phone app and set up you voicemail for Comcast you will get an alert that someone is calling and you'll still have the caller ID and be able to read their voicemail
