Comcast Voice mail not working - Please help

Hi,

I haven't been able to get ahold of customer service this week. I've tried a few times and can't get through.

 

Can you help me?

My phone Voice mail does not work. I get a message saying
"The mailbox number you are trying to reach is not in service. Goodby."

How can I get this fixed?

Have you set up your voicemail before?  When you initially set up your voicemail service, you need to dial your home phone number from your home phone in order to reach the setup tutorial.  You can use *99 after you set up your voicemail service.  If this does not work, I think you will need to call Comcast and have them check to see if voice mail has been properly added to your account.  You can also try emailing we_can_help@cable.comcast.com because they can usually get you in contact with someone who can fix your problem.

Hi Mamabearlongs, I don't think that had to do with it because I tried dialing my full phone # and it wouldn't let me access any VM options. Comcast did something remotely and got it working again. Yippie!
