Cannot get voice activated

Cannot get voice activated

Recently switched everything from verizon to comcast.  Purchased my own modem (arris tm722 g).  Internet came right up but voice will not.  Contacted support numerous times and they cannot seem to get voice provisioned on my device.  Most recent attempt the "tech" said I need a new modem.  One previous "tech" said I need to take it to a local service center and have them associate it with my account.  The most "local" service center is an hour away.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Cannot seem to get help from anyone on their support lines....they are telling me my modem is not activated, send me to activation dept, they say it is activated but there is another modem listed on my account, get transferred back to account team, they insist it is not activated, send me back to activation team, then hang up....I think I am going to just cancel these services.  If their support can't get this straight, then I don't want to deal with them anymore.
