Can't make changes to voice mail preferences

I am having the same issue. Can't make any changes to my preferences. Keep getting a "Can't connect to server" message.

I cannot access Call Manager to set up readable voicemail, which I was invited to do by a XFINITY email i got yesterday.  I get an error pop-up window that says "A network service error has occurred."  When I ask for details, it says

method: GetVoiceFeaturesRequest

msg: system failure: java.lang.NullPointerException

code: service.FAILURE

detail: soap:Receiver

trace: <detailed traceback info>

 

I have tried this in three different browsers: Chrome, IE, and Firefox, and all do the same thing.

I can connect to other web sites. I just get the error message that "cannot connect to the server".

To add some more information, the details show a code empty_response. Hope this helps.

I've been trying several times a day since I got the email about the new voice mail option.  I get the "A Network Service Error Has Occurred" message on all Call Manager options.

I can't change any of my voice preferences either.  An error message pops up saying it can't connect to the server.  Is this being worked on?  I've been trying since last Saturday...

I have made multiple calls to Comcast to resolve this issue over the past week.  All I ever hear is that "it's been escalated".   Apparently not high enough.

It is now working for me. not sure if what I did fixed it, but I did one thing after which all works great. For the phone line that wouldn't work in this tool, I went into digitalvoice.comcast.net to configure my voice mail preferences. Essentially, I removed the checkbox check that required my voice mail password when calling voice mail from that number (i.e. my home). After saving that digitalvoice.comcast.net preference change, I went back into the Xfinity Call Manager preferences website and I was able to make any changes I wanted now with no network service error like before.
