Can not make out going calls

Can not make out going calls

When i try to make outgoing calls all i get is a recorded message that states

" due to telephone company trouble, your call can not be completed at this time"

when i call my home phone from a neighbors cell phone I get this message,

"This Number is not receive calls now"

Why is this happening? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Can not make out going calls

Start by resetting the eMTA telephony modem.  There's a small indented button on the back where the cables attach.  Press for a few seconds then test it in 10 minutes.

Otherwise, you will have to contact Comcast support and they will decide where the issue is and if a tech needs to come out.

Then your only option is to contact Comcast support.

This is a community forum and there is no connection here that can put in a help ticket for you.
