Caller id on TV not working

Caller id on TV not working

I upgraded my cable box/service to HD (Pace RNG110) recently and ever since the caller id doesn't appear on my TV screen.  (It does work fine still on my PC).  I've verified it is turned on under "Interactive TV menu".  Any other suggestions on how to get this working again with the new cable box?

Ticket opened for you.  I am betting that the system didn't set up the new box correctly when it was added onto your account.

Normally I would tell you the caller id would be up and going within 24 hours, with the holidays, it might take them up to 72 hours, I don't know what our holiday staffing is in your area.

It's still not working on my TV.  Caller id does work fine on PC, but nothing displayed on TV.  Appreciate your help.  Any other suggestions?

My caller id on TV is still not working.  Cable box is Pace RNG100.  Can somebody from Comcast continue to try to figure out what the problem is?  Thanks.

A RNG100 is a Cisco Std Def box and UCID on TV is not available on Cisco equipment at this time.

 

A RNG110 is a Pace box that will support UCID on TV since that box runs on Motorola systems.

I'm sorry - it is a Pace RNG110 (HD box).  Caller id on it/tv still not working though.

I can look into this for you, sounds like it could be a problem in our switch.

Quick question, can you access your video ondemand and play a free movie without an error message?  If your ondemand isn't working than those problems are likely related either with a signal issue or the box itself.  If the ondemand is working, then it is something I can put it a ticket to have fixed from our end.

Thanks ComcastNick!  My video on demand is indeed working fine.  I'm not sure if it is part of the problem or not, but I want to note that this is a new cable box as of about 2+ weeks ago when I upgraded to HD service.  Everything else is working fine now except for the called id on the tv.  Appreciate your help.

can't see who is call me from the tv anymore been trying too see if it would come back but it hasn't came on and im pay for something that is not working that's crazy i been a customer for a long time never seen anything like this have but it's cool you guy and take me for a ride like this

My caller ID on tv quit working several days ago.  How long before it's fixed?
