Hi

I'm new here,I have a question maybe someone can help.

I recently did a self install kit for internet and voice goes with it,I had caller ID that always came up on the TV when phone rang but evey since comcast did some up grades with there system the caller ID went away.I talked to the comcast guy at there store and he said it could be because the self install kit has not been installed and I asked him if it could be a wrong main cable box that I had the silver box but he said no that one should work,so I installed the self install kit but no caller ID.Can anyone Help me with this?

This is to let all people who responded to me about my Caller ID problem and to Geek46 who told me to call comcast,well it's back up and working, just wanted to let Geek46, ComcastPhill and ComcastIrma know. Thank you all.

Call into Comcast and ask them to ensure that your account has the CallerId RATE CODE on it....  When you did your self-install, somehow that rate code didn't make it onto your new equipment...  it's a simple fix, but only Comcast can do this.

No need for you to apologize....  Comcast more than likely made a BOO BOO when it added your new equipment....  that's the thing about rate codes... thery sometimes don't transfer over correctly...
