Caller ID on Television

Caller ID on Television

I have followed all the directions for caller ID and I still don't have it on my television!! It was on there and then one day I noticed that it was gone. Any suggestions??  Could it be because I moved the equipment from where it was originally? I mean I just moved the furniture, not unplug anything.

Always start troubleshooting by unplugging the AC power to the box, wait a minute, then power it up again.  That will reload the UCID app and most times fixes it.

 

Otherwise it would be a code issue on your account that a Comcast agent can fix by calling into Comcast support.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it still doesn't work. I have called and no one seems to be able to fix this as yet.

Why doesn't the Caller ID on our Television work any more?  It worked off and on for a while, but now it does not work at all.  What can we do?

Start by unplugging the AC power on the box for 2 minutes, then power it up again and test in an hour.  That will load the ITV apps fresh.

 

If it still doesn't work, then it most likely is a code issue on the account that any Comcast support agent can fix.
