Caller ID on PC disconnects every 5 minutes

Caller ID on PC disconnects every 5 minutes

Caller ID used to work fine on my Mac.  Not it frequently disconnects.  I decided to keep a record of disconnects and it seems that it occurs every 5 minutes.

MacPro, OSX 10.6.8

I've had the same problem with my Mac, and while this starting occuring several months ago, it is definitely worse in the last several weeks.  Would it help to remove the application and install it again?

Same problem with my MacBook- uninstalled and reinstalled the App with no improvement.  Very irritating.  Let's hope Comcast sees these posts and addresses soon.

I also have the problem of frequent disconnects...then the application reconnects by itself a few minutes later.  It does this many times during the day.....most unreliable application I have ever encountered.  So, Comcast, are you planning to fix this problem ?

These are public forums, not direct connections to CC staff....

DIrectly contacting CC will get you much further in your attempt for repair...

NOT informing CC doesn't get you anywhere and CC will not know there is a problem....
