CID display when I make a call

Is there a way to change what is displayed on others' CID when I call them from my Voice line?

If you want your information to come up the same way each time, you need to call into Comcast and have them make the necessary data changes in their database.... this way it will appear the way you want it to appear to people you call....

I have 4 tickets on this issue, one esscalated. This has been since Fri. 5/15/15 and now it's Tues 5/19/15. Still can't get them to get my first and last name on CID. First it showed city and state + area code and number, then made it area+number only. Promissed to to be done by 5pm today, Tues. and was told I would get a call back. Still not working and no call back either. Fed up with the reps. I can't even get to a supervisor. Fed up with the whole voice service. Took 3 weeks just to get my home number ported. un F.... believable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand your frustration....  it happened to me concerning an X1 DVR showing up as an Internet Modem, thereby not allowing me to view my data usage.... took almost 8 weeks to get that straightened out....   Since you have tried going through the normal channels, try this:

 

Send an email to:

we_can_help@comcast.com

Include all of your information, full name, service address, phone numbers where you can be reached easily, as well as the phone number associated with your account, your account number, and details about all the issues you have been having. Also include a link to this post.
