Answering Machine

A few years ago our answering machine stopped taking messages and now the only way to see messages is to go to email. Is there any way we can have both work at the same time? I've looked all over my settings to see if I could change this but can't find it anywhere.

Are you referring to a personal answering machine or the Comcast Voicemail feature?
