1.5 weeks no incoming phone service - FIXED!!

9 days ago chatted to report we can't receive incoming calls.  Cust. service said 48 hours to repair.

Called 2 days ago.  Still no service.  Cust. service said issue was being expedited.

Tried to call customer service tonight; call gets disconnected.

Tried to chat with customer service tonight; unable to connect.

Phone porting was the issue.  For some reason after many years of Comcast triple play, the porting reverted back to our original telephone carrier.

Not sure which method of communication (email, chat or this forum?) was the driver for the cust. service calls yesterday but all is fixed.  Telephone back up and working.  Thank you Comcast.

Same problems here, 2weeks. Lengthy holds, many disconnects, no calls returned.

Whatever you do, don't try to move to a brand new house when you already have Comcast voice.  That blows up their system.   So far 10 days, 10 calls, averaging 45 minutes each, and zero progress getting my original Comcast number moved to the new house.
