unable to connect internet using Wi Fi (Xfinity Router)

unable to connect internet using Wi Fi (Xfinity Router)



I am unable to connect WiFi using my Notebook. It shows connected with the router but shows Red Cross (X) between the router and network. In the system tray shows yellow exclamatory mark on wireless sign. I am able to connect using my mobile phone & macbook pro with the same WiFi, so there is no problem with the router. When I try to troubleshoot problem using windows feature then it says gateway not available. I can connect to internet using cable &I can also connect to Wi Fi on different router but not able to know why it is not connecting with this Xfinity router?


 Here are the details:

Notebook: Compaq Presario CQ58-155SA Notebook PC
Serial Number:   5CB2233VXS
OS: Win 7 64 bits

Router: Xfinity Comcast

Is the Laptop operatng in the same wireless band as the router? Wireless N or Wireless G?
