Will phone still work with TECHNICOLOR tc8305c in "bridged" mode

I recently switched to Comcast's triple play.  Since then I cannot connect with my work VPN.  From reading these forums, it appears the solution is to have my TECHNICOLOR tc8305c placed in bridge mode.  Since this device controlls my internet and phone, will my phone still work if this change is made?  Thank you in advance.

Yes. Having in placed in to bridge mode will not affect the telephone function.
