Help with Changing Router Channel??

Hi,

 

I am looking to change the channel on my router. DOes anyone know the steps or can point me in the right direction...I am not totally tech savvy so lamen terms please!

Scroll down to page 17. There you'll see how to change the channel from automatic to manual.

It's pretty stupid you can only change it to channels 1, 6, or 11. What about the other 11 channels?! Most of which aren't even being used!

Many of the other channels are being used by saavy users. Of course this can vary widely by one's particular local area. FWIW, overlap interference is worse for WiFi than is co-channel interference. 1,6, and 11, have the least amount of overlap.
