Xfinity home window sensor

Could anyone please tell me why the "Low Battery" warning is still being displayed on both my "Home App" and Tablet on a "Window Sensor" that I just replaced the wafer battery... I rebooted the tablet but it's still showing "Low Battery"

The sensor has a batter inside. You can either buy a new battery or see if Comcast would be willing to send you one.

Based on my experience, the sensor communicates with the tablet every time it is triggered, so rebooting the tablet would not update anything. Open and close the window a couple times and see if that helps.

Thanks I did take the battery out and reinstalled it then opened and closed the window worked perfect
