Keeping web portal open on computer

Keeping web portal open on computer

How do I keep the web portal open so I can always have the camera in view.  I want to keep it open on one of my computers, but when I come back later, I have to sign into Comcast 2 or 3 times before the web portal reopens.  By that time, the person at the door has either left or I just open the door.

Hi pattyann39 -

Due to security purposes, users will be signed out of the Subscriber Portal after 15 minutes of inactivity.  If you are at home and would like to have your cameras always in view, you can do this on your touchscreen.  If you bring up your cameras on your touchscreen they will stay open unless you have your touchscreen configured to display a screensaver.

Thanks,

Rachel

Re: Keeping web portal open on computer

Although this does answer the question, it avoids the fact that a monitored system that can only be viewed from one location on a tiny screen, is not really suitable for the purpose. The fact that it can be viewed at all only on one of my three cable boxes makes it even worse. And why is there no way to use motion in a video as a trigger ina rule?
