this is too long a story to recite but the nub of it is -- lost emails for I don't know how long and promised help not kept.  everyone justs shrugs and says oh thats hard to figure out.

Are you using only Xfinity Connect, or do you also use another email program, smartphone, or tablet?  Are you using POP servers or IMAP?

 

Have you checked your settings in the EMAIL DELETION SCHEDULE?

To do:  Open the XC Inbox and click on the Preference tab.  Next click the EMAIL ICON.

Scroll down to tge Schedule and open it.  Look at the number of days set for each Folder is set to how many days before the schedule automatically deletes all email from the Folders.

Does that explain the missing Email? Make any changes to the schedule you want while you are there.

 

If you use other devices and want copies of all email left in the Xfinity Connect Inbox, you must go to the settings in each device and check the box tonLEAVE COPIES OF MESSAGES ON THE SERVER.
