It would be helpful if you told us the problem to which you are referring.  We already have quite a few forum moderators with more that will be joining soon.

Re: what is comcast going to do about this problem?

Given your previous postings, I'm guessing you still have problems with your emails rearranging their order and appearing and disappearing.

This is primarily a customer-to-customer help forum, so if you need to contact Comcast to look at your account, you need to call them or chat. Posting here will not reliably yield a response from Comcast.

I trust that you know that clicking on the column headers in the mail list will resort them based on that criteria. The current criteria is denoted by a very small arrow on the column. You don't have to click on the arrow; if that column isn't a sort criteria, it doesn't have an arrow. Just click on the column header. Is it possible you are accidentally hitting the column headers while scrolling or reading?

If you have a lot of messages, the program can get confused. Quit mail and reopen it.

But your sorting order should remain chosen between email sessions. The messages in one of my folders were still sorted by file size months after I chose that option.

If that isn't your continuing problem, please describe what the problem is.
