webmail slow

for several weeks (ever since xfinity 'upgraded' the webmail client?) i've been getting messages about problems with saving messages, sending, moving to trash, etc...AND webmail is often quite slow, taking over a minute to send or load a message.

 

we need a way to diagnose these problems: are they due to local issues (insufficient RAM?) server (do i need to purge messages) or is xfinity having problems?

 

the error messages are insufficient!
