using pop3

Some how one of our Smart Phones email got set to Imap from Pop.  This is not working for us because if the person deletes anything from their phone it deletes it on other phones and desktop email too.

Will it be fine to delete that account and add the same account as POP.  Will it all work without anymore problems

Re: using pop3

It should, but make sure you go into the settings and tell it to leave a copy on the server.

Also set Xfinity Connect webmail's Preferences / Email / "POP Settings for Other Apps" to "Keep".
