unreliable email

unreliable email

Comcast email has become unreliable, crashes frequently with "not responding" messages with a choice to wait or kill the connection. Waiting never works, so I kill and start over ... and over ... and over.

Service is spotty, this happened a few months ago, then cleared up and service was fine ... now it's unreliable again. Other than email, web access works fine.

Erratic email from Comcast, on multiple computers and browsers. Some days it works fine, others it just hangs, so I get "unresponsive Xfinity" messages. The only fix is to shut down email and restart. Sometimes this fix lasts 10 minutes, sometimes all day. Something is seriously wrong at the Comcast end. The final fix may be another ISP.
