"Permanent Error" message sending email

"Permanent Error" message sending email

When I try to send email to recipients with email addresses on either of two specific domains/servers, I get a "permanent error" reply. My email client is Live Mail on Windows 10. I am not having problems sending email to anyone else,.

 

The problem may have begun after reading an email from one of the recipients.

 

The text in the "permanent error" messages seem to be implying that the Comcast outgoing server "is blacklisted at" (no name after the "at"). This looks suspicious. Note I am running Norton internet security on my PC and it reports no problems. Where is the problem located, with me or the recipients' servers? How can it be fixed?

Start by calling Comcast security and see if they can tell you where the issue is, but you may also wind up having to contact the support for the other domain-------------

Thanks for your reply. I called them and we established that the permanent error does not occur when sending to the recipients directly from Comcast using a web browser. So it seems somehow my LiveMail program has become affected and it is not a Comcast issue, as far as they are concerned.
