putting pictures in the body of an email

putting pictures in the body of an email

I have photos on my desk top that I used to drag into my emails ~ I could then choose sm , med or lg now I clicked 'attach' can't enlarge the photo to see if it's the one I want ~ pick a photo I think is the one I want , choose it  and it comes into the email so large , all I can see is a tiny portion of the photo blown up so big it 's rediculous!!!

How do I now get a pic sent in email?

Re: putting pictures in the body of an email

How big is the photo in terms of pixels?  You need to reduce it to about 600x800 or less to send inline in an email.  Use whatever image handling software you have to do this.  Like MS Paint, or online with something like Google Picasa, etc.  You can still drag and drop;  I just tried it and it works fine.  I'm assuming it's a jpeg file?

FWIW, Picasa no longer exists.

Goes to show how up to date I am!  But hey, there are plenty of alternatives like Photobucket and so on.  Here is a shortlist of possibilities--------------------

I've had my Photobucket account for several years, and I really like it.

Things change so quickly, it's sometimes hard to keep up.
