problems sending comcast emails from iphone5

About 1 months ago I started experiencing problems sending comcast emails using my iphone5.  The error states:

"the user name or password for "(account).comcast.net" is incorrect".  I've tried resetting the password several time and still cannot send and email from my phone.  This morning I deleted and installed comcast email account but still have the probelm.  According to the searches, all the setting appear correct.

After installing the email again, I performed 1 last step... under settings/mail/Comcast mail/account/outgoing SMTP/Primary server I re-entered my password and the outgoing email appears to work.  Previously this was not an issue when I changed passwords... but now it apparently is an issue.  I thing I'm going to start changing my account from Comcast to Google.  This is a hassle!!!

The issue has nothing to do with Comcast, Gmail or any other.  It is just how iOS handles your password.  What you experienced is normal when you get that error message;  you have to reset the password in both places.
