problem adding mailbox

Added new user on Comcast website but new mailbox does not show on my Mail page. I use an iMac. I may have to delete new user and start over, but don't know how to do this.

You need to add the new account in Mail > Preferences > Accounts. I have a page describing the process although it's for POP and several versions of the operating system back.

I contacted Comcast technical support and someone directed me to their link for instructions for installing a mailbox on an iMac. This procedure worked.
