pop-ups

I have received e-mails with attachments from trusted friends and when I try to open them, but get a "Browser is blocking pop-ups".  How do I allow certain pop-ups?

Thanks

Re: pop-ups

It depends------which browser are you using?  IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari?

Re: pop-ups

I'm using Chrome.  I;m not really sure why it started blocking trusted friends attachments.  Now it does it to every attachments that comes to my email account...  Very weird.

Re: pop-ups

Try this:

Open Chrome.

Click the 3 horizontal lines on the far right of the address bar and click Settings.

Scroll down and click Show Advanced Settings.

Under Privacy click Content Settings.

Scroll down to Pop-Ups. Click Manage exceptions.

In Hostname pattern box https://web.mail.comcast.net/

Click Done.

See if the attachment will open.

If that doesn't work, repeat the process and enter http://my.xfinity.com/?cid=customer or http://xfinity.com
